Pels Matthews
Pels Matthews joined Spearhead, LLC as a Principal in 2007.
In the preceding ten years, Mr. Matthews was a Senior Vice President of sales in the Fixed Income Division of Citigroup Global Markets, Inc. He was responsible for marketing and sales of taxable fixed income products to a wide array of institutional clients. He has over 19 years experience marketing and selling financial products within the institutional marketplace.
Prior to his position with Citigroup, Mr. Matthews spent nine years with both Myerberg and Company, a broker-dealer in New York, and the GE Capital Corporation Treasury Department. He spent the first five years of his career with Chase Manhattan Bank in a variety of US and overseas based positions.
Mr. Matthews serves on the board of the Shepaug Soccer Club, and is active in coaching a variety of youth sports in the Litchfield County region.
Mr. Matthews is a graduate of Syracuse University.
